ACCIDENT PREVENT) ' PROGRAM <br /> R B CONSTRUCTION, ,tNC. PAGE 5 <br /> D. when involved in an accident seek emergency medical care for <br /> any injured party. Then get the name, phone number, license <br /> number , insurance company, and policy number of the parties <br /> involved, as much information regarding the accident as <br /> possible including names , address and phone number of any <br /> witness. The employee is to give his name, license number, <br /> firm's name, address and phone number. They are not to answer <br /> any other questions regarding the accident and do not admit <br /> any responsibility. The employee is allowed to discuss the <br /> incident only with authorized investigators. <br /> 2 . 4 Subcontractor's Safety Responsibility: <br /> 2 . 4 . 1 <br /> All subcontractors are required by our contracts to comply <br /> with our safety rules , the state safety laws , the rules and <br /> procedures of our customers, and procedures and practices <br /> acceptable to the industry. Every superintendent has the <br /> direct responsibility to enforce all safety rules regarding <br /> the subcontractor. <br /> 2 . 4 . 1 . 1 <br /> Should a safety violation or unsafe condition involving a <br /> subcontractor cause an administrative problem, then the <br /> superintendent is to contact the administrator of safety and <br /> request his assistance. Remember, R B Construction , Inc. can <br /> receive a Department of Industrial Safety citation as the <br /> result of an unsafe condition caused by a subcontractor. This <br /> could result in a dollar fine and in certain situation <br /> criminal action against management. <br /> 3 . 0 Safety Rules: <br /> 3 . 1 <br /> A set of general safety rules have been compiled for R B <br /> Construction, Inc. These are general in nature broad in <br /> scope. However, every employee should familiarize themselves <br /> with these rules and follow the to the best of their ability. <br /> A copy of these rules are to be posted at each job site. <br /> 3 .2 <br /> Any specific and/or special safety rule, instructions or <br /> warning, applicable to a given job site shall be compiled and <br /> posted by the job superintendent. The director of safety will <br /> assist in these efforts . <br />
