Box 2009
Stockton, Ca. 95201
Dear Donna:
ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH
FERMIT/SERVICES
In our phone conversation regarding the proposed underground tank
closure for our client, INDY Electronics, you requested a letter
outlining the measures to be taken. I am enclosing a copy of the
letter that was submitted to Dr. James Allen at the State
Department of Health Services regarding our client's proposal. I
believe it covers all the items we discussed.
Please send me a letter stating the county's position on this
proposal. As I had mentioned, I had personally spoken to six
inspectors, including yourself, and received six different
interpretations on the county's position. Some inspectors say
the San Joaquin Health Department will require inspectors present
during excavation procedures, and other inspectors say other
wise. As you will notice in my letter to Dr. James Allen, INDY
is very environmentally conscious and wishes very much to comply
with the regulations, but this issue has confused everybody. I
would appreciate clarification on this matter.
If you require any additional information, please do not hesitate
to contact me.
Sincerely,
CUMMINGS ENVIRONMENTAL
Valerian M.
