As of today here is an update to the items listed in your email:
The drop tube was verified to be built and installed for 95%shutoff for the B100 tank on 3/18/14 with Issac.
The spill container was hydrostatically tested for one hour and the five gallon capacity was verified with Issac on 3/18/14
also.
The 6100 tank was ELD pretested on 3/20/14 by Leak Detection Technologies. I have not received the test results for
this test yet. I spoke with Ken Huey the same day and he stated that they can't conduct the final ELD test until all of the
13100 system is backfilled and covered. Please allow 48hr. notice for scheduling the final ELD test. Passing final ELD test
results must be received by our department prior to the B100 tank being able to receive fuel.
G
F
All three of the existing trunk line connections passed pressure and soap testing on 3/18, 3/19 and 3/20. The new FE f
Petro smart controllers were brought on line and the middle and north diesel tanks are manifolded and set up as
Master/Slave Alternating which was verified with Roy last night.
' Today the north and south transition sumps were verified to be filled with brine and fiberglass repairs were made to the
south diesel tank turbine sump hat. I allowed the remaining excavation to be backfilled. Due to a shortage of Bravo
i
Brine, the vent box, vent piping and injection shed sump will be filled at a later date.
As built drawing are required to be submitted before scheduling the final inspection. Since the primary lines were
j opened to blow back and purge, the mechanical line leak detectors must be tested during the final for all three diesel
turbines. Also the three existing diesel lines will need to have a six month secondary containment test completed since
new secondary components were installed. The test is due by 9/20/14 for all three lines.
I
1 ,
I
