XERXEV
a zcL company
March 15, 2014
Transmitted via E-Mail: scotthCcDmrbec.com ; rvonflue@sicehd.com ; schulzc1(aD-aol.com
Re: PILOT Travel Center#618
To: whom it may Concern:
On March 13, 2014 our Xerxes Certified Field crew led by Mr. Chris Schulz inspected a
reported DW sump that refused to take on brine liquid in the reservoir; this sump is on a
10' —20,000 Gallon DWIII tank UL# S-657919 located at 1501 N. Jack Tone Rd. Ripon,
CA 95366
Field Report:
Site location:
PILOT Travel Center#618
1501 N. Jack Tone Rd. Ripon, CA 95366
After inspection of the sump it was determined that the reservoir passage to the body of
the sump was blocked or clogged. In order to confirm this a small window was cut on the
secondary wall exposing the passage and was confirmed.
Repair Procedure
Xerxes removed the FRP material that was blocking the communication passage this area
was cleaned off and air was inserted thru the collar nipple to confirm that communication
was achieved.
A tape material was used to avoid any further FRP material from blocking passage and the
secondary section was then laminated in place.
As soon as the FRP material fully cured it was again confirmed that communication was
achieved and brine was then added.
Please call me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Y r'_.
Danny Garcia, CCT-C Cc:
Rudy Tapia
Field Service Coordinator
ZCL CORROSIONXERXEV x ,
L?tlAI.A1W :;''lRC)Y'm arm®sae;3t-,+.nn
a UL company a xi.mropan •,.•.•.:
a xu.company ., ',
