A portable <br /> power tool may have a lock-on control provided turn-off can be acocrrplished by a <br /> single motion of the same finger or fingers that turned it on. <br /> Hydraulic fluid used in powered tools will retain its operating characteristics at <br /> the most extreme temperatures to which it will be exposed. <br /> Manufacturers, safe operating pressures for hydraulic hoses, valves, pipes, filters <br /> and other fittings will not be exceeded. <br /> All hydraulic or pneumatic tools which are used on or around energized lines or <br /> equipment will have nonconducting hoses having adequate strength for the normal <br /> operating pressures. <br /> loose and frayed clothing, loose long hair, dangling jewelry, rings, chains, and <br /> wrist watches will not be worn while working with any power tool or machine. <br /> All woodworking tools and machinery will meet applicable requirements of ANSI 01.1, <br /> Safety Oode for Woodworking Machinery. <br /> Extension cords: <br /> o Must meet UL or other rating criteria according to OSHA. <br /> o Use will be limited to essential tasks. <br /> o Must be tested for continuity before each use and must be connected to <br /> grounded outlets or ground fault current interrupters mist be used. <br /> o Must be inspected daily for loose insulation, broken or missing plugs, <br /> based wires, etc. <br /> o (rounding of outlets used for portable tools must be confirmed before use. <br /> o Must not be allowed to become tripping or slipping hazards. <br /> o Must not be used for lifting, tying off and shall be disconnected by <br /> pulling on the plug. <br /> 3 ?�3� <br />
