(1) Ground water monitoring wells shall be sealed from the <br /> ground surface to the top of the filter pack. <br /> ( }} Borings shall be described In accordance with the provisior <br /> of Sections 2648(t) and (u) of this article. <br /> Authority: HBSC 25299.3 <br /> Reference: H&SC 25292 <br /> Adopt new Section to read: <br /> 2648. General Construction and Sampling Methods <br /> -------------- <br /> (a) Soil and water sampling equipment and materials used to <br /> construct a well shall be compatible with the stored <br /> hazardous substance and shall not donate, capture, mask, no <br /> alter the constituents for which analyses will be made. <br /> {b) Representative samples of all Imported materials used for <br /> filter packs and to construct seals shall be evaluated to <br /> determine their acceptability with regard to Subsection (a) <br /> of this aection. <br /> (c) All drilling tools shall be thoroughly cleaned immediately <br /> before a boring is started. <br /> (d) <br /> All well casings, casing fittings, screens, and all other <br /> components that are installed in the well shall be <br /> thoroughly cleaned before installation In the boring. <br /> (e) All soil and water samplers shall be cleaned before each <br /> ,� °3►:tae3s. s_ � "- sample 13 taken <br /> (f) Dr 11ng fluff --additives shall be limited to inorganic, non- <br /> hoz dour terials which conform to the provisions of <br /> Subse on (a) of this section.
