I Caltrans does not guarantee that any of the described improvements scheduled for demol'it.ion and_ removal are, constructed of the materials as stated _ in the= provisions, nor that they conform, exactly in size, quantity, or any other described, manner. The Contractor shall note that the- underground tank was abandoned and is, inactive. i Unl'ess. specifically stated' otherwise in these Special Provisions, Caltrans assumes no- responsibility for- conditions not evident at the time of bid o'pening,: naw for-- subsequent change or damage of any nature to the- improvements not within the control of Caltrans. Debris shall not be disposed of within the right of way and the Contractor shall make his own arrangements for disposal outside the right of way. Caltrans reserves the right to terminate- this contract upon written notice to the Contractor. The� Contraetor shall be responsible for any damage to structures, water lines, power lines,._ gas lines, vehicles and all other property and will furnish all labor, tools,- equipment and materials to properly repair any damage incurred during his operation at no cost to the State.
