* TOWER ENERGY GROUP <br />Violation: 108 Secondary Containment testing was last performed on 9-15-09 and was <br />completed on 10-23-12 one month past due. Secondary Containment is required once every <br />36 months. <br />CorreetiveAetion: Testing was originally scheduled before the due date•however, due to <br />unforeseen illnesses, 'Walton Engineering had to reschedule the test date on several <br />occasions. Going forward we will ensure that the test is scheduled in a timely manner and <br />also within enough time to prevent from groing vast clue date if for any reason the test has to <br />be rescheduled.. <br />Violation: 313 All spill containers,87 Master, 87 Siphon, 91 and diesel, all had <br />approximately '/a to %a full of liquid in the buckets. All spill buckets shall have a minimum <br />capacity of five gallons and be capable of containing a spill or overfill until it is detected or <br />cleaned up. <br />Corrective Action: The D.O. store manager, and employees are all aware of the procedures <br />for checking spill buckets for liquid. Going forward we will ensure that all spill buckets <br />are empty and free of liquid and debris by checking on a regular basis. <br />Hazardous 'Waste Program Inspection <br />Violation: 801,88,809 Failed to store Universal Waste {U)V) lamps in closed container, in <br />manner that prevents breakage & release to environment. <br />Corrective Action: Lamps were containerized labeled and taken to the Tower Mart <br />Warehouse. Lamps from all of our facilities are taken to main warehouse located at 20 <br />Goldenland Court in Sacramento Ca. A pick up is then scheduled from this location for all <br />lamps. Our Maintenance Managers oke with you via phone on 1-16-13 about this <br />procedure. See photos attached of the lamps closed and labeled. <br />Violation: 605 One 55 ballon black metal drum of oily -liquid hazardous waste label located <br />outdoors in the trash bin area did not identify physical state of contents. <br />Corrective Action: Manager corrected this issue on site.
