0 Piping to Tank Connections The GWFlex Piping offers a variety of options for interconnecting the flexible piping to the underground storage tank. For pressure piping systems, the flexible piping may be connected to the tank's submersible pump using the GeoFlex Fittings or a flexible connector. For this application both single and dual line connections may be made. For suction systems which do not require a subrgersible pump located inside the Tank Sump, all GBOF/ex Piping connections are made directly into the tank fittings typically installed on the tank's manway coveriby using the GwFlex Fittings and Adapters. The Geo Flex System offers an assortment of plumbing fittings, adapters and connectors which permits a variety of plumbing configurations for connecting the GBOF/ex Piping to the tank. Single Line/Pump Connections In single line pressure system piping connections to submersible pumps, the following plumbing tree assembly Is recommended ea described and illustrated below. Other filling configurations are also permitted. Single Line Fitting Connectors In single line piping transitions to the submersible pump the Female Adapter or Male Adapter can be connected to the Directional Elbow. This assembly will Interconnect one coupled pipe section to the submersible pump. 0 Dual Line/Pump Connections In dual line pressure system piping connections to submersible pumps, the following plumbing tree assembly Is recommended as descilbed and illustrated below. Other fitting configurations Dual Line Fitting Connectors In dual line piping transitions to the submersible PUMP the Dual Adapter can be connected to the Directional Elbow. This assembly will interconnect two coupled pipe sections to the submersible pump. Flex Connector Connections The Geo Flex Pipe may be connected to the submersible pump by using the appropriate length flexible connector. Flexible connectors can be attached to a GeoFtexm pipe coupling using a male adaptor fitting. Available soon. Multi-line/Pump Connections In multi -line suction system piping connections to the tank fittings, the following fitting assembly is recommended as described and illustrated below. Other fitting configurations are also Multi LineirTank Transitions In suction or syphon applications, piping transitions directly to the`tanlh fillings can be done by installing Male or Female Adapters directly or Indirectly into the tank fitting.
