The <br />standard manway I.D. is 22". Manways with 30" <br />and 36" I.D.'s are available on certain tanks. <br />Each manway is provided with a steel cover, with <br />plated bolts, nuts and washers, and a UL -listed <br />gasket. Manways are placed in standard locations <br />as shown on the standard tank drawings. <br />NPT Fittings <br />Steel NPT service fittings in the manway cover are <br />available in 2", 4", 6" and 8" half -couplings. When ordering tanks, specify <br />manway fining configuration. <br />OG Fiberglass <br />Manway Extensions <br />Tank entry in high groundwater conditions <br />and/or deep burials may require manway exten- <br />sions. When bolted to the manway, an extension <br />provides a watertight access to the tank interior. <br />Extensions are available in 22", 30" and 36" diam- <br />eters, and in two foot lengths or more, up to a <br />maximum height of 6'. Extensions include nuts, <br />bolts, washers and a gasket. <br />
