Item S: During your inspection you observed that the Designated Operator (DO) training form did not
include hire dates for all store employees and asked for the training form to be updated and submitted.
Resolution 5: As noted previously, not all store employees are forthcoming with their hire dates. I was
able to obtain the hire dates for the employees who are still currently employed at this location and have
had the DO update the training records. A copy is attached for your records.
Item G: During your inspection you observed liquid in the turbine sumps as well as UDC 11/12 and asked
that it be removed and disposed of properly.
Resolution G: The liquid was removed from the components listed above by the Tanknology technician
on the day of your inspection. Due to the minimal amount of liquid removed, the technician believed the
absorbent rag to still be usable and took it with him for use on other projects.
Item 7: On your inspection report you noted there was a ball valve located in UDC 718 that appeared
closed preventing communication between the piping secondary and the UDC sensors.
Resolution 7: Walton Engineer confirmed all of the ball valves in UDC 7/8 are in the open position
allowing the piping secondary's to drain as required. A copy of their work order is attached for your
records.
This letter should address the item(s) noted on the Inspection Report. 7-Eleven assumes that all issues
regarding this report have been resolved and are closed. The submittal of this response by 7-Eleven, Inc.
shall not constitute, nor be deemed to constitute, an admission of liability or responsibility with respect to
the alleged violations and, in addition, evidence of this settlement may not be used in any administrative or
judicial proceeding or otherwise.
Very truly yours,
7-Eleven, Inc.
.AOAI..
Stephen Boyd
Region Gasoline Environmental
Compliance Manager
Enclosures: Updated training record, work order, and RTC form
cc: File
7-Eleven,Inc.
P.O.Box 711—Dallas,Texas 75221-0711
