The following mounting and fabrication procures and instructions' should be strictly• adrP,refl to. This will insure a proper installation. ' Tank Mounting Applications . Before;assembly of tfie primaryand secondary piping begins it is.necessary to moult the Sump/Risers to the underground storage tanks.' The following' instructicrMs cover the standard mounting applications available. Consult your local Pipe Jacket Distributor for more information on your Sump/Riser mounting +, requirements. Manw;ay m6unt Using the:22" 4 24" Manway Mount Kit to install a 42 3t�or 30" Sump/,Riser to Oanks manway first remove the manway bolts (specffy.3f`4* TTTT TTTTT VTTT long bolts from�,our tank manufacturer) and lay the,-first gasket over the,., manway cover. Next place the pre-cut and drilled base of the Sump/Riser over the gasket and position properly. Lay the second gasket and the three piece steel compression ring on top of the base and then re-install the bolts. Fitting Mount Using the 4" Mounting Nipples any size Sump/Riser can be mounted directly to tanks 4" N.P.T.fittings. Using a 5-1/2" hole saw,cut the required number of holes in the base of the Sump/Riser. Next install the desired number of Mounting Nipples into the tanks fittings. After they are tightened Ile - down, remove the compression ring and place the Sump/Riser base on top of the Mounting Nipple base and screw down the compression ring using the Compression Ring Wrench. �- Riser Mount ' Using either the 4" or 6" Riser Mount Collars any size Sump/Riser can be @g mounted directly to a riser pipe of a tanks submersible pump. Using the f appropriate size hole saw, cut a hole in the Sump/Riser base in the desired location. Insert the Riser Mount Collar,with the flange on the outside of the base. Speed tip weld, (using the welding rod provided with the Sump/Riser), the flange to the outside and inside of the base. Insert the r> base with welded on collar down over the user pipe to the desired height e_ and tighten stainless steel clamps.
