The sealed
tube was then immediately stored in an iced cooler. At the
end of the field day, the samples were delivered to
t California Analytical Laboratories, Inc. under chain -of -
custody. A completed copy of the chain -of -custody form is
included in the appendix of this report.
To minimize the cross contamination, all augers and
associated equipment were steam -cleaned prior to the
' drilling of each borehole. The sampler was cleaned in a
trisodium phosphate rinse, and a distilled water rinse
before collecting subsequent samples.
' V. ANALYTICAL RESULTS
' A. Soil Samples
The soil samples collected from B-1 (5-1001-A) and the
B-2 (5-1002-B) were chemically analyzed for total petroleum
' hydrocarbons by FT -IR. The concentration of total petroleum
hydrocarbons were below a detection limit of 20 mg/kg (ppm)
in both soil samples. A copy of the laboratory analytical
' results is included in the appendix of this report.
1
1
1
1
1
