Employees shall observe and obey all "No Smoking" and warning signs when <br /> in the area of flammable liquids (ie fuel tank, fueling small tools or in <br /> service stations) . <br /> I B. No open flame or burning materials shall be allowed within 50' of <br /> equipment being fueled. <br /> ' C. All containers shall be properly marked as to their contents whether <br /> "DIESEL" or "GASOLINE" . Such containers shall not be used for any other <br /> purpose or liquid. <br /> D. Fire extinguisher are located in the truck cab and shall be readily <br /> available when fueling any piece of equipment or tool . <br /> FIRE EXTINGUISHER <br /> A. Employees shall make themselves aware of the location of all fire <br /> ' extinguisher. <br /> B. Fire extinguisher are located in each company truck behind the seat and in <br /> the cab of each piece of equipment. <br /> C. Every employee shall make himself familiar with the use of and the type of <br /> fire extinguisher we employ. <br /> ILIFTING <br /> A. The Golden Rule: LIFT WITH YOUR LEGS NOT YOUR BACK! <br /> B. Know your limits, don't lift more than you can handle. <br /> 1 C. Use a firm grip with your whole hand, not just your fingers. Secure a <br /> solid footing with your feet a comfortable distance apart. Bend your <br /> knees and keep your back straight and lift using your leg muscles. <br /> D. In most instances you may be handling rough materials, use gloves. <br /> ITOOLS <br /> A. No tool shall be used that is defective or broken. <br /> B. All tools shall be kept clean and in good condition. <br /> C. Any cable or pipe choker that is frayed or worn shall not be used. <br /> ' D.
