Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA. 95201-0388 <br /> ' Subject: Underground Fuel Storage Tank Removals at San Joaquin Delta College's <br /> Shima Center Complex,5151 Pacific Avenue,Stockton, California(MSI 95-11-01). <br /> Dear Mr. Kith: <br /> This report presents the analytical results of soil samples collected following the <br /> removal of four underground storage tanks (UST) at San Joaquin Delta College, 5151 <br /> ' Pacific Avenue, Stockton, California, the project location. Attached to this report are: a <br /> UST removal and soil sample location map, analytical chemistry reports of soil samples <br /> analyses, chain-of-custody documentation, a UST tracking record and a copy of a uniform <br /> ' hazardous waste manifest. The scope of services were initiated by written agreement <br /> between Mrs. Toni Cardinale of San Joaquin Delta College and Banks & Co. Based on <br /> information provided by the owner, the tanks had product histories of waste oil associated <br /> ' with the adjacent shop, diesel fuel and leaded gasoline. <br /> tSCOPE OF WORK <br /> Services performed by Banks&Co. included, acquisition of the required San Joaquin <br /> ' County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and City of <br /> Stockton Fire Department permits, exposure of the USTs, cleaning and rinsing of the USTs, <br /> manifesting of the fuel product rinseate, UST removal activities, transport of the USTs to <br /> ' a licensed acceptance facility and backfilling operations. Services associated with the soil <br /> sampling, documentation, analytical chemistry and reporting were performed by Moore <br /> Services, Inc. (MSI). In addition, MSI provided services involving the chemical profiling of <br /> the excavated soils, manifesting,transportation and disposal of these soils. All of these UST <br /> closure activities were conducted to comply with the adopted requirements of PHS-EHD. <br /> ' I <br />
