UST Closure Plan <br /> Tosca Oil Facility 402479 <br /> 7647 Pacific Avenue <br /> Stockton,CA 95207 <br /> Page 2 <br /> This Closure Plan describes in detail, the phases of work associated with the underground <br /> storage tank(s) (UST) removal at 7647 Pacific Avenue, Stockton, CA 95207. <br /> Tosca Northwest Company has previously submitted an application to remove 1-12,000, <br /> 1-10,000 and 2-6,000 gallon USTs, that formerly stored gasoline, with all associated fees <br /> for the above referenced site. <br /> A former waste oil tank of unknown size, previously abandoned in place will also be <br /> removed from the site. <br /> Phases of Work <br /> Site Personnel <br /> ADVANCED Environmental Services, Inc. (ADVANCED) personnel will be the <br /> contractor of record for this project. All AES personnel are OSHA 1910.120 certified <br /> with current 8 hour refresher updates. <br /> Utility Locating <br /> Underground Service Alert (USA) will be notified at least 48 hours prior to start of <br /> excavating activities. USA will notify all member Utility Companies. A current USA <br /> will remain in effect for the duration of the tank removal project. <br /> Residual Fusel Removal <br /> Residual fuel will be removed from the USTs by use of a Vac-Truck supplied by Asbury <br /> Environmental Services (Asbury). Asbury is a California Registered Hazardous Waste <br /> Hauler, #0015. Residual fuel will transported under a Hazardous Waste Manifest and <br /> disposed of at Demento Kerdon located at 2000 N. Alameda Street in Compton, <br /> California. <br /> Excavating <br /> The excavated soil that is generated during the tank and piping removal will be stockpiled <br /> on, and covered with 10 mil Visquine.
