UST Closure Plan <br /> Tosco Oil Facility#02479 <br /> 7647 Pacific Avenue <br /> Stockton,CA 95207 <br /> Page 3 <br /> Triple Rinsing <br /> USTs formerly containing gasoline will be triple rinsed by use of a high pressure washer <br /> and a bio-degradable detergent. Rinsate will be removed from the USTs by use of a Vac- <br /> Truck supplied by Asbury Environmental Services (Asbury). Asbury is a California <br /> Registered Hazardous Waste Hauler, #0015. Rinsate will transported under a Hazardous <br /> Waste Manifest and disposed of at Demento Kerdon located at 2000 N. Alameda Street <br /> in Compton, California. <br /> Tank Inerting <br /> USTs formerly containing gasoline will be inerted by introducing 3 lbs., of dry ice per <br /> 100 gallon of tank volume. All openings in the USTs will be sealed except for a 118" <br /> opening in each UST to allow oxygen to be purged from inside the UST. An <br /> LEL/Oxygen meter will be used to monitor the Lower Explosive Limit atmosphere and <br /> Oxygen level in the USTs prior to their removal from the tank pit. <br /> Removal From Tank Pit <br /> When authorized by the Stockton Fire Department, the USTs will be removed from the <br /> tank pit and cleaned with non-sparking scrapers for inspection by regulatory inspectors <br /> Tank Labeling <br /> USTs will be labeled with a tracking number issued by FHS in florescent paint. A Tank <br /> Tracking Sheet will accompany each UST to the disposal facility. <br /> Tank and Piping Disposal <br /> USTs and associated piping will be hauled under Hazardous Waste Manifest and <br /> disposed of by Erikson, Inc., EPA ID# CAD009466392 located at 3033 Richmond <br /> Parkway, Richmond, CA 94801. <br /> Sampling Plan <br /> Sampling Plan is submitted under separate cover by Tosco Northwest Company/Alisto <br /> Engineering Group. <br /> � UAFAK 77finiiiii �ii . ri <br /> s >. r■■■ W=Wr Mal, 9 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES.
