• Page 2 September 19, 2006 <br /> • The Veeder-Root TLS 350 was checked for a tank slope programmed into the system, the <br /> premium tank had a 7 slope, mid grade had a 3"slope and the regular had a 5"slope. <br /> • Willy Ng form SJCEHD and Kent Miller from Port of Stockton Fire Department arrived on site <br /> at 2:30 PM; the issue was discussed with both regulators. I discussed removing the manways <br /> from the tanks and pumping the product from the lower ends of the tanks. <br /> • The fill, vapor return fitting and the in-tank probes were reinstalled in the tanks. The dispensers <br /> were closed up and we departed from the site at 3:30 PM with a reschedule for the regulators <br /> for Wednesday 9/13/2006 <br /> Thrifty Oil has several 55 gallon DOT approved drums delivered to the site to pump the additional tank <br /> liquid into. Cal Phase picked up additional nitrogen and a pump the remove the liquid. <br /> Wednesday 9113/2006 <br /> • Cal Phase arrived on site at 8:00 AM and started removing the manways from each tank. <br /> • Upon removal of the manways a pressure washer was used to wash the inside of the tanks. <br /> • Liquid was removed from each tank and placed into two(2)55 gallon open top drums supplied <br /> by Thrifty Oil Company. The drums were properly labeled and left on site for further removal <br /> and disposal 1 recycling by Thrifty Oil. <br /> • Al three tanks were clean and no standing liquid was present when the manways were <br /> reinstalled. <br /> • The manways were re-installed with the vapor return lines, and product lines capped and <br /> plugged as directed by Kent Miller of the Port of Stockton Fire Department. <br /> • The electrical wiring to the submerged pumps was disconnected inside of the junction box and <br /> the contractor's electrical plug was not reconnected. <br /> • Nitrogen was placed into the tanks to purge the gas vapor from the tanks through the existing <br /> vent lines. <br /> • Upon arrival of the Regulators,Willy Ng from the SJCEHD the LEL was tested (See table#1) <br /> • Upon approval the manway covers were replaced and we departed the site. <br /> TABLE-1 <br /> Tank ID Nitrogen used LEL Reading 02 Reading <br /> Regular 5,000 PSI 7.0 2.1 <br /> Mid Grade 3,700 PSI 0.00 0.09 <br /> Premium 3,800 PSI 6.0 19.8 <br />
