If grmmdwater is encountered in tfie cavity, sail samples will be <br /> collected from the sidewalk of the excavation, and a grab water sample will be <br /> collected. In addition,a soil sample wM be mHected along every 20 feet of <br /> product line dimension and below each dispeaw island. <br /> The samples will be vollected directly from the backhoe bucket by scraping off <br /> the surface soil and hanmering a dean stainless steel tube directly Into the soil <br /> reaieved. The sampling tube will be filled with Snit and tit ends immediately <br /> cavered with Teflon sheeting or aluminum fog and polyvinyl chloride caps and <br /> sealed with tape to mamtain air tightrms.
