1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This workplan describes the procedures for the removal of underground <br /> storage tank(s) at the Southern Pacific Transportation Company (SPTCo. ) <br /> facility located in Lodi, California (See Figure 1). The tank at the Lodi <br /> site is 1,000 gallons in size and contained regular gasoline. Included in <br /> this workplan is a description of site preparation, excavation and tank <br /> removal , closure and restoration, contingencies for <br /> investigation/mitigation of contamination (if detected), waste disposal , <br /> record keeping/certifications, health and safety measures, and project <br /> quality assurance procedures. <br /> The removal of the tank will be in accordance with the California <br /> Underground Storage Tank Regulations, (California Administrative Code Title <br /> 23, Chapter 3, Subchapter 16 adopted January 18, 1985, amended June 6, <br /> 1985) and in accordance with local , county and city regulations, as <br /> required. Canonie Environmental Services Corp. , a licensed California <br /> State contractor (#510801) will coordinate and perform the removal program. <br /> All local officials responsible for underground tank programs will be <br /> contacted at least 24 to 48 hours prior to commencement of field <br /> operations. <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> 1 <br /> CanoweEnvironmental <br />
