Section 3. OPERATOR CONTROLLED SYSTEM TESTS AND FUNCTIONS.
A) SETTING THE CLOCK
In the event of AC power failure, the unit has a standby battery
that runs the clock at all time. If, however the system is with-
out AC power for an extended period of time, or if the clock
ever diviates because of an electronic malfunction, the clock may
need to be reset. Of course, it will be necessary to reprogram
the clock each time that "daylight savings time" affects the time
in your particular region. Keep in mind that the clock runs in
militarX time, and will have to be programmed accordingly.
1. Open the front panel door and activate the keyboard by
pressing the SET key.
2'. Press the CLOCK key - the time and the date will be
printed.
3. Enter a series of five, two diget letters in the
following sequence:
DD = Day
MM = Month
YY = Year
HR = Hour
MI = Minute
4. Press ENTER. The process is complete.
B. TESTING INDIVIDUAL WELLS FOR PRESSURE AND VAPOR READINGS.
Under certain conditions it may be desirable to test individual
wells in order to determine the vapor levels and/or line pressure
at a given time. If, for example there is an alarm condition, you
will be asked by the service technician to identify the well, and
explaine the condition before he makes expensive and maybe an
unnecessary service call. To accomplish this, you will need to
run a "TEST 3" on the wells (s) in question. This is done in the
following manner:
1. Open the panel cover and press the SET key to activate
the key board.
2. Press the TEST key, followed by the #3 - the unit will
print "test 3" on the tape to indicate that you are in the
test mode.
3. Now enter a two diget number for the port that you wish
to test. . . .for example, if you want to test port bbl, press
01 - if you want to test port #9, press 09, etc.
4. Wait approximately 30 seconds until the unit prints out
the results of the test. With no other commands entered, the
unit will continue to sample the well and print the results
every 30 seconds.
