A truck <br /> mounted hollow stem drill rig will be used to collect the soil <br /> samples . The soil samples will be analyzed using EPA Method °240 <br /> with additional parameters for MEK, PMA, and Acetone. <br /> The hollow stem drill rig will also be used to drill and <br /> install four groundwater monitoring wells . ' The wells will be <br /> drilled to a maximum depth of 60 feet . Sail samples will be <br /> obtained at 5 feet intervals and field inspected using an HNU <br /> photo-ionization detector (PID ) . Two soil sam2les from each soil <br /> boring will be analyzed based on the above men ' rame� ter, <br /> all other soil samples will be frozen for analysis , if <br /> requested . The wells will be constructed of . 020 inch slotted , 2 <br /> inch diameter PVC well screen and hunk casing, clean, washed #2 <br /> Monterey sand will be used as a sand pack. The wells will be <br /> sealed with bentonite and arcuted to the surface with cement. -\J }` 1 <br /> ( See Appendix 3 for typical monitoring well construction ) .
