(Attachment A) and presents a work plan for additional site assessment, feasibility <br /> testing, and interim remediation activities The subject letter includes a summary review <br /> of the Interim Remediation/Multi-Phase Extraction Feasibility Test Report dated May 4, <br /> 2001 and Additional Site Assessment Report dated November 9, 2001 submitted by <br /> SECOR The proposed additional site assessment activities, feasibility testing, and <br /> interim remediation includes the installation of three shallow groundwater monitoring <br /> well, three deep groundwater monitoring wells, one groundwater extraction well, <br /> performance of an aquifer test, and the performance of batch groundwater extraction at <br /> the subject site (Figures 1 and 2) The objective of site assessment activities is to define <br /> the lateral and vertical extent of the petroleum hydrocarbon plume in shallow and deep <br /> groundwater at the site <br /> This work plan includes a brief discussion of site background, proposed scope of work, <br /> and schedule The SCEMD's comments are listed below in bold italics and responses <br /> follow each comment <br /> I The Feasibility Test Report documenting a multi phase extraction (MPE)pilot test <br /> that took place the week of February 12-16, 2001.
