Atlantic Richfield Company • 4
ARCO Service Station#4932, t6 E Harding Blvd,Stockton,CA January 5,2001
groundwater samples will be collected and sent to a California
Certified Laboratory (Sequoia Analytical or equivalent) The
groundwater samples will be analyzed for TPHg using modified EPA
Method 8015, BTEX using EPA Method 8020, and fuel oxygenates
MtBE, DIPE, TAME,EtBE,TBA, 1,2 DCA, and EDB by EPA 8260
• Well Surveying. Upon completion of well construction, the wells will
be surveyed by a licensed surveyor to a local benchmark relative to
mean sea level Groundwater gradient will be interpreted utilizing
wellhead elevations and depth-to-water measurements
• Door-to-Door Sensitive Receptor Survey. A 500-foot radius door-to-
door sensitive receptor survey will be performed to evaluate potential
sensitive receptors in the area of the site, including undocumented
domestic, irrigation, municipal, and industrial wells
• Conduit Survey. An underground conduit survey will be performed to
locate subsurface utilities, which may potentially influence groundwater
flow and plume migration However, given the depth to groundwater at
the site (approximately 27 feet bgs) it is unlikely that there are utilities
in the area the may significantly influence groundwater flow
• Report. A report will be prepared after completion of necessary field
work The report will include soil boring logs, well construction
details, soil and groundwater analytical results, chain-of-custody
documentation, and conclusions
Field and laboratory procedures are presented as Attachment C
SCHEDULE
SECOR is prepared to initiate field work within 4 weeks following approval of this
work plan, the issuance of permits by the SJCEHD, the issuance of encroachment
permit from the City of Stockton, and obtaining offsite access agreement A report
documenting the findings of the soil borings and well installations is anticipated to be
submitted approximately 6 to 9 weeks after the completion of the field work and upon
receipt of all analytical data
077 43286 310/WPLAN3 dor
