No. 0711021 <br /> Site Clean-up <br /> On Mav 10, 2010,at the r0qu0stof FILL CRA inohilized to the Site to Complete surface soil <br /> ronwval activities from the Site's western benndary area. CRA utilized a wheeled leader to <br /> remove the top 6 inches of soil from this area, which was approximately 400 feet longeby 5 fet <br /> wide. A total of 37 cu vds of surficial soil weir removed. The excavated soil was added to the <br /> existing 2�.a vJ soil stockpile for staging pending removal. Following the removal of the <br /> surficial soils, borrow from the adjacent surface areas was used to level the surface in the <br /> western boundary area. Photos doCumenting the Site excavation activities are presented in <br /> Appendix .-A. '1110 excavation area will he rese,•ded with native vegetation seeds within the next <br /> two weeks. The extent of the surficial excavation is shown on Figure 2. All soils were profiled <br /> for the disposal based on the HEI analytical date. <br /> On May 11, 2010,CRA mobilized to the Site to load the stockpiled soil into trucks to be <br /> transported to the Forward, Inc. Stockton, California Landfill for disposal- CRA retained <br /> Intrinsic Transportation, Inc. (Intrinsic) as the transporter. All the soils were disposed of as non- <br /> hazardous waste. Intrinsic provided one truck ,quipped with a storage bin to transport the <br /> sails. CRA utilized a wheeled loader to load the soils from the stockpile into the storage bin. In <br /> total, six loads of soil were transported to the landfill. Copies of the nun-hazardous waste <br /> manifests for the shipments to Forward Landfill are presented in Appendix B. <br />
