Advanced Interconnect Technologies <br />Emergency Response Plan <br />Page 9 <br />6.5.6. Notify the Manufacturing Manager who will determine whether <br />other agency notifications are required. (See Section 6.6) <br />6.5.7. Determine if operations or utilities must be shut down and ensure <br />that this information is communicated to the appropriate personnel. <br />6.6. The Manufacturing Manager will evaluate the release incident and make <br />any necessary agency notifications. The Administration Manager provide <br />assistance and make the notifications if the Manufacturing Manager is not <br />available. <br />6.6.1. Estimate the quantity of material released and determine if agency <br />notification of the incident is required. The following types of <br />spills are considered "reportable": <br />Any unpermitted or unauthorized spill/release leaving the plant site via <br />land, air or storm sewers. <br />=> Any spill/release above the reportable quantity (RQ) (see reportable <br />quantities at Appendix E) <br />Any spill outdoors including spills in secondary containment that could <br />present a significant risk to human health, the environment or property <br />(State reporting requirement) <br />Any spill/release that increases the hazard of fire, explosion, or produces <br />flammable or toxic gases. <br />Petroleum (oil) releases that exceed 42 gallons. <br />6.6.2. The following agencies must be notified immediately of any <br />reportable release or spill once such notification can be provided <br />without impeding immediate control of the release or emergency <br />medical measures.
