Area Flooding 10.4.1.In the event of the threat of flooding, the ERC and Staff Personnel will evaluate the situation and, if necessary, initiate shutdown of equipment and evacuation of personnel. 10.4.2.If necessary, the ERC will direct personnel to empty the process tanks and neutralize the treatment chemicals in the wastewater treatment unit. 10.4.2.1. Materials in the Dry Chemical Warehouse will be raised to a higher elevation to prevent exposure and release. 10.4.2.2. Precautions will be taken to minimize equipment water damage and prevent floatation of the bulk storage tanks. 11. Training 11.1. All employees will be familiarized annually with the requirements of the emergency procedures, emergency equipment, and emergency systems to insure they are able to respond effectively. (See Appendix D). 11.2. All ERC and ERT members will receive annual training on responding to emergency situations.
