Reyes <br />SUBJECT: Secondary Containment Certification Status <br />On December 4", 2000 1 contacted Jeanne Homsey with ATC Associates Inc. and inquired as to <br />whether ATC would be able to come to the AIT -Manteca facility and begin certification of the facility <br />secondary containment system as outlined under Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations <br />(CCR) sections 66265.192 and 66265.163. She stated that ATC routinely performs such <br />certifications and that she would be able to inspect the system on 12/19/00. <br />On December 19`h , 2000 1 met with Jeanne Homsey and gave her the EPA contact information with <br />a copy of the Summary of Violations issued by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), <br />California Environmental Protection Agency on 11/28/00. After the discussion, she performed an <br />inspection of the secondary containment trench systems located directly under Anodization Line 1, <br />surrounding Anodization Line 2, and the entire outside pad (location of the PBR treatment system) <br />areas. She took several pictures of the system and determined that she did not notice any cracking <br />or damage to the integrity of the secondary containment trench system.
