30 May 2000 <br /> AGE-NC Project No. 97-0372 <br /> Page 17 of 17 <br /> A sample of the final rinse water will be collected for analysis for cyanide and target metals. <br /> Fluids generated by the steam-cleaning process will be recaptured and containerized in DOT- <br /> approved 55-gallon drum(s) or an above ground Baker tank pending analysis and proper disposal. <br /> The drum(s) or tank will be labeled with the site address, date of generation, contents description, <br /> and a contact phone number. The drum(s) or Baker tank will be stored in an area lacking public <br /> access pending proper disposal. <br /> 5.12. WIPE SAMPLING <br /> After steam-cleaning the plating bath areas and the solder flux room, the concrete walls and floor <br /> will be wipe sampled to verify adequate cleaning. Whitman Glass Fiber No. 692 Filter paper will <br /> be utilized. While wearing gloves,the rough side of the filter paper will be wiped across the surface <br /> to be tested. The filter paper will then be sealed in a plastic bag,which will be labeled and stored in <br /> a cooler chest. The wipes will be transported under chain-of-custody to a DHS-certified analytical <br /> laboratory and will be analyzed for lead, copper and nickel by EPA Method 6010.
