All employees will proceed quickly to the <br /> evacuation staging area(designated as E/S on the maps). The Shop Manager/Shop <br /> Foreman will do a head count to confirm all employees are accounted. <br /> 4. Immediate reporting is NOT required if there is a reasonable belief that the release poses <br /> no significant present or potential future hazard to human health and safety, property, or <br /> the environment. Be extremely cautious about reaching this conclusion in the absence of <br /> consultation. The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) is <br /> available to assist in evaluating the significance of a release, at (209)468-3420 or 911 (in <br /> case of emergency). <br /> Appropriate Authority Notifications: <br /> 1. 911 - Police, Fire, and medical <br /> 2. (209)953-6200 - San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (after work <br /> hours or weekends use Sheriffs Office(209)468-4421) <br /> 3. (800) 852-7550 - California Emergency Management Agency(CalEMA) <br /> 4. (209) 468-3420 - San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> Notification Will include: <br /> a. Exact location of release or threatened release. <br /> b. Name of person reporting and their call back telephone number. <br /> C. Hazardous material(s) involved. <br /> d. Estimated quantity of hazardous material(s) involved. <br /> e. Potential hazards presented by the hazardous material(s). <br /> 5. Emergency Actions: In the event of a small spill(typically less than 55 gallons). <br /> 1) Contain spill and secure the area, so that no one walks over the spill. This can be <br /> accomplished using absorbent material, or other cleanup material, and highly <br /> visible cones, or caution tape. <br /> 2) Eliminate any potential ignition sources, such as vehicle engines and cigarettes. <br /> 3) Notify San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) if the spill <br /> runs off the immediate storage area. <br /> J.B.Hunt Transport <br /> Materials and Waste Handling/Emergency Response Plan 4 <br />
