Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the <br />destination facility on site for three years and have them readily available for review. If the generator (lid not receive a <br />copy of the manifest with the handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the facility to which the generator's waste <br />was submitted within 80 days of the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit a <br />legible copy of the missing manifest, with some indication that the generator has not received confirmation of delivery. <br />This information shall be submitted to: <br />DTSC Report Repository <br />Generator Information Services Section <br />P.O. This is a repeat <br />violation, Class 11. <br />403 <br />CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />A drum of product motor oil and a drum of product antifreeze are stored in the hazardous materials shed. Both drums <br />were observed with liquid accumulated In the top of the drum, and staining from liquid down the sides. Oily liquid was <br />observed in the secondary containment for the drums and on the floor of the shed. The liquid and the contaminated <br />absorbents and other solids were uncontained. All hazardous waste containers shall be closet) at all times except when <br />adding or removing waste. Immediately place these wastes in properly closed containers and ensure all hazardous <br />waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste.
