Phase II would be the continuing <br /> characterization using the Phase I results to define the appropriate <br /> analytical parameters. <br /> Phase I will include sampling soil 1 foot below the soil surface at three <br /> locations where visual evidence of contamination has been identified or <br /> where contamination is likely to be found. These locations are (1) near the <br /> pond pump, (2) in the center of the pond bottom, and (3) in the drainage <br /> channel near the pond outlet . Pond sample locations are identified on <br /> Figure 2 in the original plan as Slb and S7b . A copy of this figure is <br /> attached . The drainage channel sample locations have not been numbered; <br /> however, the proposed Phase I sample location is the southernmost location <br /> identified on Drawing No. 1 of the original plan. A copy of this drawing is <br /> al'so attached.
