Provide signatory statement as described in Title 22 California Code of Regulations, <br />Section 66270.11 (22CCR§66270.11); <br />2. Verify tank system is anchored to prevent dislodgment; <br />3. Measure tank thickness; <br />4. Describe tank system piping; and, <br />5. Estimate remaining service life of tank. <br />On March 28, 2012, John Boll and Mike Blankinship visited WMI's transfer station in Lodi, <br />California to address each recommended amendment described in Mr. Cacapit's inspection <br />report summarized as follows: <br />1. Provide signatory statement as described 22CCR06270.11(d) <br />Response: Refer to signatory page of this amendment. <br />2. Verify tank system is anchored to prevent dislodgment, 22CCR466265.192(a)(5)(B) <br />Response: Tank system is anchored to prevent dislodgement, refer to Attachment A - <br />Photo Log, Photos 1-3 (time dated photos). <br />3. Measure tank thickness, 22CCR§66265.192(k)(2)(B) <br />Response: The tank is made of 0.5 inch steel. The thickness of the steel was measured <br />in the field on March 28, 2012 using a measuring tape, model 4 33-430 manufactured by <br />Stanley. <br />4. Describe tank system piping, 22CCR&66265.192(k)(2)(C) <br />Response: Used oil is drained into an oil pan beneath the vehicle/truck being serviced <br />within the fleet maintenance building. A 1% -inch rubber hose approximately 6 -feet in <br />length with a Camlock® fitting connects to the oil pan. A 1 -inch steel pipe beneath the <br />concrete floor approximately 7 -feet in length transfers the oil from the service pit wall to <br />the floor of the shop. The I -inch steel pipe is connected to a I%: -inch rubber hose <br />approximately 4 -feet in length that is connected to the pneumatic pump.
