Turner Rd. Lodi, CA <br />Program: HW <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />hazardous waste regulations. Submit a copy to the EHD. Note. Refer to the red highlighted portions of <br />the attached model tank assessment for the missing items. <br />301. Wet oil stains and oily debris are on the shop floor next to the drain oil only container and next to <br />the residential used oil tank. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a <br />fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human <br />health or the environment. Immediately clean up the wet oil stains and oily debris, and manage <br />according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation <br />explaining how this waste was managed by 1-6-12. <br />305. The secondary containment spill control equipment of the transmission oil drums have liquid in it. <br />All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and <br />decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its <br />proper operation in time of emergency. Correct immediately by removing the liquid, make a Title 22 <br />hazardous waste determination, and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit <br />a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed by 1-6-12. <br />404. A ten gallon bucket of waste oil was left open in the "bailer room" of the "old maintenance shop". <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. <br />Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not <br />adding or removing waste. <br />605. Two black 55 gallon drums, one of used antifreeze and one of oily solids were not marked with a <br />hazardous property. All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />The hazardous waste property of toxic was marked during the inspection. Continue to ensure that <br />containers of hazardous waste are labeled with all the required information. <br />605. An open ten gallon bucket of waste oil in the "bailer room" of the "old maintenance shop" was not <br />labeled with any information.
