0 <br /> B. Responsibilities: <br /> 1. Primary Facility Emergency Coordinator <br /> The Primary Facility Emergency Coordinator is the individual who is <br /> responsible for coordinating all emergency response measures at the <br /> facility. The Primary Facility Emergency Coordinator is familiar with <br /> all aspects of the facility's contingency plan, all operations and <br /> activities at the facility, the location(s) of all applicable emergency <br /> response records for the facility, and the facility layout. This person <br /> has the authority to commit the resources needed to carry out the <br /> contingency plan and the responsibility to respond to emergencies as <br /> described in Section 5, Response Procedures. <br /> The Facility Emergency Coordinator will perform or direct others to: <br /> a. Train all employees in fire suppression and spill response procedures <br /> and the use of related equipment. <br /> b. Assess incident: <br /> i. Identify hazardous materials or wastes involved. <br /> ii. Assess effects to human health and the environment. <br /> C. Activate alarm to evacuate facility personnel, if required, and if <br /> the alarm has not yet been sounded. <br /> d. Develop a plan of action to isolate incident. <br /> e. Assemble emergency response team. <br /> f. Use appropriate emergency response procedure from Section 5 of this <br /> Plan. <br /> g. Notify PG&E News Services Department of incident details. <br /> h. Record incident information on the Scene-Management Checklist <br /> (Section 8) . <br /> i. Follow up with reporting, recording, and monitoring review of the <br /> incident and incident response. <br /> j . Revise Facility Environmental Emergency Response Plan as necessary. <br /> 2. Alternate Facility Emergency Coordinators <br /> In addition to the Primary Facility Emergency Coordinator, there are <br /> several alternate people who are responsible for coordinating emergency <br /> response measures at the facility. <br /> The Alternate Facility Emergency Coordinators will coordinate with the <br /> Primary Facility Emergency Coordinator or act on his/her behalf. The <br /> Alternate Facility Emergency Coordinators are familiar with all aspects <br /> 7-2 <br />
