This area
drains to an oil/water separator located at the west end of the
yard. The separator would contain any oil spilled within this
area. The amount of oil-filled equipment stored in this area
varies. The returned equipment has been taken out of service
for reasons of failure or replacement and is being returned for
repair or disposal. The majority of the returned equipment is
placed in plastic-lined wood boxes as secondary containment.
The volume of oil in the various pieces of equipment ranges
from 10 to 40 gallons.
Possible Spill Occurrence:
i) Overturning during The volume of oil that could reason-
handling with a ably be expected to spill is 10-40
forklift or jib gallons.
