Specification No . : RGS0024-87 Part II - SPECIFIC CONDITIONS Section 14 - Electrical Work 14 . 3 . 1 Pay all inspection and other applicable fees and obtain all licenses and permits necessary to execute the work of this section. 14 . 4 Forming , Cutting and Patching 14 . 4 . 1 Contractor will provide any special forming , recesses , chases , etc . , and provide wood blocking , backing and grounds as necessary for the proper installation of electrical work . Be responsible for notifying Contractor that such provision is necessary and lay out work and check it to see that it suits requirements for work herein . 14. 4. 2 If trade responsible fails to notify Contractor at proper time , or fails to locate items properly , resulting in extra work, said trade shall be responsible and shall reimburse the Contractor for extra costs involved . 14. 4. 3 Be responsible for proper placements of pipe sleeves , hangers , inserts and supports for this work. 14. 5 Tests : 14. 5 . 1 Test all wiring and connections for continuity and grounds ; where such tests indicate faulty insulation or other defects , locate , repair and retest . Balance loads at panelboards . Check rotation of all motors and correct if necessary . Furnish all testing equipment . 14. 6 Products and Execution : 14 . 6 . 1 General : Examine all drawings , specifications , and the site , be familiar with requirements of work , furnish and install all electrical work indicated or specified . Install all equipment and material in a workmanlike manner in accordance with NECA Standard of Installation . 14 . 6 . 2 Work shall b;,e coordinated with other crafts to avoid conflicts and all outlet locations checked against other work to be installed . Minor adjustments made necessary by other work shall be made as approved by Engineer at no additional cost . Work shall be furnished and installed at proper time to avoid delay in work. XIV-2
