If a leak or threatened leak results in a spill of 50 or more gallons of waste oil or <br /> there is insufficent manpower and or equipment to contain the spill the spill must <br /> be reported to the Local Adminsterative Agency. Cali the Fire Department and <br /> the Center's Waste Oii Transporter/Recycler. <br /> 2. if a spill or threatened spill is in danger of entering the ground, public sewer or <br /> storm drain System it must be repo ped immediately,irrespective of the size of the <br /> spill. Call the Water Quality Conti of Board. <br /> C. COMMENCE CONTAINMENT AND CLEANUP PROCEDURES <br /> i. The Emergency Response Tea <br /> ,should don their personal protective equipment <br /> and commence containment prcyedures. <br /> S <br /> oP <br /> a. Barricade area to avoid spreading and public exposure. <br /> U <br /> e=K <br /> b. Use absorbent material to Build a containment mound around the spill. <br /> c. Use additional absorbent material and/or shop rags to absorbe the spill. <br /> d. Dispose of used absorben: material and soiled rags in accordance with the <br /> established procedures. <br /> e. DO NOT DISPOSE OF WASTE OIL DOWN A DRAIN OR SINK. <br /> 2. Upon completion of the containment and cleanup the Emergency Response <br /> �- Team members should clean their protective equipment and tools in accordance <br /> with established procedures. <br />
