(AGE) has prepared this report in
conjunction with the abandonment of one 10,000-gallon, fiberglass, underground storage tank
• (UST) at the referenced address.
BACKGROUND LOCATION
The site is located in a agricultural area of very low topographic relief, sloping gently toward the
west(Figure 1) at an estimated elevation of 40 feet above sea level.
The estimated depth to ground water at the site is 60 feet below surface grade (bsg) based on
information from Lines of Equal Depth of Water Wells Fall 1996, published by the San Joaquin
County Flood Control District and Water Conservation District- FCD&WCD. Based on the map
titled Lines of Equal Elevation of Groundwater Spring 1996 also published by the San Joaquin
County FCD&WCD, the site is in an area where ground water flows toward the east. Ground
water was not encountered during removal of the USTs.
UST SOIL SAMPLING
On 07 January 1999, AGE collected soil samples from five soil probe borings (PBI-PB5)
advanced surrounding the inactive diesel UST and product lines on the site. A Geoprobe
equipped with 1.25-inch diameter probe rods and a 1.5-inch diameter soil sampling assembly
• was used to collected soil samples. The locations of the probe borings advanced for the UST
abandonment investigation are illustrated on Figure 2.
4005 North Wilson Way, Stockton, California 95205
Telephone (209) 467-1006 FAX (209) 467-1 1 18
