McKinley Lathrop , CA 209-858-4737 One each 1800 gallon open top evaporation tank for water used to wash paint gun . The project manager , and the health and safety coordinator is Keith A . Tallia of Oil Equipment Service . The site safety officers at the job site will be Keith A . Tallia of Oil Equipment Service . The alternate site safety officer will be Robert M . Dragomanovich of Oil Equipment Service . Oil Equipment Service will have on the site ( 2) fire extinguishers and one ( 1 ) first-aid kit within 50 ' of the tank location . See attached map . No smoking will be permitted within 50 ' of the tank or areas where flammable vapors are present . Oil Equipment Service shall notify the local fire department 48 hours before excavation shall begin . USA will also be notified before excavation of job . Tank must be empty of product before start of job . Nor Cal Oil Co . will triple rinse tank with soap and water . Rinse will be hauled away by Nor Cal Oil Co . waste hazardous hauler . Tank will be dry iced , 30 pounds of dry ice per 1 , 000 gallons , before excavating . Oil Equipment Service shall monitor tank with a Combustible Gas Indicator (CGI ) and seal all openings before tank will be transported . At no time will anyone cut or weld the tank . Tank will be secured on truck after extraction for transportation . Tank and plumbing will be hauled by S & R Rentals Inc . to Triangle Inc . of Sacramento to be properly disposed of via destruction . Oil Equipment Service will approach all tank excavations with possible cave-ins . The following rules will be followed to prevent any mishaps : 1 ) soil to be inspected for stability before and after tank is removed , 2) soil is to be kept at least two ( 2) feet from the edge of an excavation , 3) if excavation is five ( 5) feet or more the hole shall be tapered , braced , or other equivalent methods shall be used to prevent possible cave-ins . Precautions will be taken at all times .
