Required <br /> These items are required for all personnel working in areas of known or <br /> suspected contamination, during drilling and sampling operations. <br /> Employees shall wear the following required personal protective clothing <br /> and equipment during work operations. <br /> (a) Boots with steel safety toe. <br /> (b) PVC, neoprene or other chemical resistant gloves. <br /> (c) Hard hat. <br /> (d) Half ('/2) face respirator with OV cartridges and dust mist pre- <br /> filters. (when required) <br /> {f) Safety glasses or goggles. <br /> (g) Hearing protection required if noise levels exceed {90 dBA, eight <br /> (8) hour average at driller operation (or 85 dBA for workers who <br /> have not received a baseline audiogram or who have a permanent <br /> threshold shift). <br /> 2. Standby <br /> Employees shall have on standby, and use according to instructions, the <br /> following personal protective clothing and equipment: <br /> (a) First aid kit. <br /> (b) Fire extinguisher. <br /> (c) Hand cleaner and rags. <br /> (d) Eye wash. <br /> (e) Decontamination solution. <br /> 3.
