EI Dorado Street
Stockton, CA 95202
Attn: Fre Prevention Inspector— Robert Kubena
Re: 1533 E. Lindsay Street in Stockton, CA
Tank removal project fire permit #1
We are submitting this removal plan for your review as we plan to proceed as follows:
Step1
Inert the tanks with dry ice.
Tank #1, #2, #3 & #4 — 20,000 gallon diesel - 300 lbs. each.
Tank #5 —1,000 gallon unleaded gasoline — 30 lbs.
Tank #6 —1,000 gallon A_T.F. oil —15 lbs.
Tank #7 & 8 — 6,000 gallon new and used oil — 90 lbs_ each
Step 2
LEL tanks and if levels meet your criteria, we will remove tanks, place them above ground on asphalt that has
been covered with 6 mil black plastic.
Step 3
The annular space between each of the tanks contains a liquid brine solution as to monitor leaks. This liquid
will be removed after the tanks are set above ground on plastic. This means we must compromise the integrity
of the tanks construction (all the tanks are fiberglass) as they may fall apart if we try to transport them.
Step 4
With the tanks primary tank empty, triple rinsed, inerted. L.E.LE_D. and the annular space empty of brine and
the fact they are possibly too fragile to transport whole, we will collapse them on site as we have the room and
correct conditions.
Step 5
The tanks are on plastic covered asphalt we will use our excavator to lightly press down on each tank as to
collapse them. We will then load in the highside end dump and transport them to Forward, Inc. at 9999 S.
Austin Road in Manteca, CA. under marilfest acceptance #4204141109. There will be a light spray of water as
to keep down any airborne particles.
Atter the tanks are removed the plastic will be folded and transported to Forward for disposal. We feet this
work is the safest, cleanest and most efficient way to address this removal project as we have all the right
conditions in our favor.
