Main Street, Manteca, CA 95337 SR0076222 <br /> ❑ Monitoring system functionality after first fuel delivery: Functionality of the monitoring system must be <br /> verified to ensure it meets the requirements of Title 23 California Code of Regulations and the Health <br /> &Safety Code (functionality of vacuum sensors and vacuum zones communication). <br /> ❑ Receipt of all required documentation, final inspection, and demonstration of automatic shut-down, as <br /> applicable. <br /> 7. All monitoring equipment shall be installed and maintained such that the equipment is capable of detecting <br /> a leak at the earliest possible opportunity per California Code of Regulations(CCR) section 2630(d). <br /> 8. All USTs shall be anchored using tank anchors as detailed in the permit application. <br /> 9. Install concrete of sufficient thickness according to the manufacturer's written installation instructions and <br /> as required in buoyancy calculations. <br /> 10. Install all product and vent piping according to manufacturer's written installation instructions; maintain all <br /> appropriate piping distances and installation depths. <br /> 11. All appropriate test ports must be installed to facilitate routine communication testing (e.g. at the beginning <br /> end of each vacuum zone branch and inside brine filled sumps). No shut off valves should be installed <br /> between the monitored interstitial spaces and their respective sensors. <br /> 12. All monitoring systems shall be listed in the State Water Resources Control Board's Local Guidance Letter <br /> (LG) 113 letter. <br /> 13. All installation and testing shall be in compliance with manufacturer's instructions, section 2635 and section <br /> 2636 of California Code of Regulations (CCR). <br /> 14. All tank top openings that are connected to the primary space of the UST must have secondary <br /> containment, audible/visual alarm and be vapor tight or terminate at grade. <br /> 15. Sumps and under dispenser containment must be constructed in a manner to prevent vapors from entering <br /> the backfill. <br /> 16. All secondary containment must be constructed to prevent water intrusion. <br /> 17. No ball floats shall be installed. <br /> 18. The secondary containment system must be continuously monitored as required under California Health <br /> &Safety Code (HSC)25290.1 <br /> 19. Overfill prevention shall satisfy CCR 2635(b)(2)(C) pursuant to the permit application. All appropriate drop <br /> tube and tank gauge design calculations shall be provided to the EHD prior to scheduling of the overfill <br /> verification inspection. <br /> 20. All metal components in direct contact with the ground such as flexible connectors, swing joints, fittings, <br /> clamps, bands, and pumps shall have corrosion protection. <br /> 21. A"Certification of Installation/Modification"form for each tank shall be submitted into CERS by the owner <br /> or the owners' agent [pursuant to California Code of Regulation (CCR) 2635(d)] before this install will be <br /> considered complete by EHD. <br /> 22. An accurate and drawn to scale as-built drawing(s), which indicate the location of the underground storage <br /> tanks(underground storage tank, piping, auxiliary equipment)with respect to buildings or other landmarks <br /> (per 23 CCR 16 2711(8)) and copies of any required installation checklists(tank installation, etc.) must be <br /> submitted to the EHD prior to scheduling a final inspection. <br /> 3 of <br />
