WARNING: <br />TO MAINTAIN INTRINSIC SAFETY, THE JUNCTION BOX MUST <br />CONTAIN ONLY WIRE SPLICES, <br />3. CAUTION: <br />120 VAC WIRING MUST NOT BE CONNECTED TO LOW VOLTAGE <br />CONNECTIONS. CONDUIT FOR SUBMERSIBLE PUMP POWER, <br />GILBARCO DISPENSER POWER OR DATA WIRING SHALL BE PVC COATED RIGID <br />GALVANIZED. UPON PRIOR APPROVAL OF THE FIELD ENGINEER, DISPENSER <br />CONDUIT MAY BE PVC SCHEDULE 40 IF WIRING IS APPROPRIATELY UPGRADED <br />AND CONDUIT IS BURIED AT 24" MINIMUM. TO MAINTAIN THIS SAFETY FEATURE, PROBE AND SENSOR <br />WIRES MUST BE INSTALLED IN SEPARATE CONDUITS FROM ALL OTHER <br />WIRING. NEVER RUN THESE WIRES IN THE SAME CONDUIT OR WIRING <br />TROUGH AS POWER WIRES. <br />9. INSTALL A WEATHERPROOF ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOX WITH <br />GASKETED COVER ON THE END OF EACH CONDUIT RUN AT THE PROBE <br />AND SENSOR LOCATIONS. GASKETING OR SEALING COMPOUND MUST <br />BE USED AT EACH ENTRY TO THE JUNCTION BOX TO ENSURE A <br />WATERPROOF JUNCTION. <br />10. PULL TWO CONDUCTOR 100% SHIELDED CABLE, THWN <br />BETWEEN THE MONITOR CONSOLE AND EACH PROBE AND <br />SENSOR LOCATION. SINCE UP TO THREE PROBES AND FIVE <br />SENSORS WILL BE WIRED THROUGH THE CONDUIT, BE SURE TO USE A <br />DIFFERENT COLOR CODE FOR EACH CONNECTION. LABEL OR COLOR <br />ALL FIELDED WIRING TO ENSURE POLARITY. <br />11. THE INSTALLATIONS SHALL COMPLY WITH THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL <br />CODE; FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL CODES; AND OTHER APPLICABLE <br />SAFETY CODES. <br />12, SPECIAL NOTE: IT IS THE INTENT OF THIS DESIGN THAT ANY FAILURE <br />OF THE LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM WILL INTERRUPT ALL POWER TO THE <br />PRODUCT PUMPS. <br />13.
