0 <br /> Spec No. CGT-TRACY-UST-01-2003 <br /> General Requirements <br /> 01010-1 <br /> SECTION 01010 <br /> GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> Contractor shall provide all labor, materials,tools, equipment, and supervision to perform work <br /> including but is not limited to the following: <br /> 1.01 EXTENT OF WORK <br /> A. General: This Specification governs all work to be performed by Contractor to remove two <br /> underground diesel and unleaded fuel storage tanks and dispensing equipment at PG&E's CGT <br /> Tracy Gas System Maintenance Station. Work to be performed by Contractor shall comply with the <br /> requirements of the Specific and General Conditions of this Specification. The Specific and <br /> General Conditions are complementary and are intended to be consistent with each other. <br /> Contractor's work shall include furnishing labor, material, tools, equipment, supervision and facilities <br /> for all work but not limited to the Work defined by the Sections, Divisions and Drawings of this <br /> Specification. Work necessary to make a complete installation ready for use or operation in <br /> accordance with the terms of the Contract shall be performed by the Contractor and considered as <br /> included in the prices quoted for work whether or not specifically classified for payment under the <br /> items of the Proposal Form. <br /> B. Location: The project is located at PG&E's CGT Tracy Gas System Maintenance Station, 24081 <br /> Mountain House Parkway, Tracy, CA 95376. The Tracy Station is located in San Joaquin County <br /> on the Southwest corner of the Interstate 205 and Mountain House Parkway interchange. From <br /> Interstate 580 (Altamont Pass)take the 205 extension towards Tracy. Mountain House Parkway is <br /> the first exit. Turn right on Mountain House Parkway and Tracy Station is immediately on the right. <br /> C. Definitions: Definition of Bidder, PG&E, Contract, Contractor, Specification,Work, etc., is as <br /> defined under the General Conditions 1.0, Page GC-1 of this Specification. <br /> D. Conflicts: <br /> 1. Should a conflict exist between the General Conditions and the Specific Conditions, the <br /> Specific Conditions shall control. Should a conflict exist between the Specific Conditions or <br /> General Conditions, and the Appendices,the Specific Conditions or General Conditions, shall <br /> control. Should a conflict exist between the Specification and applicable federal, state, or local <br /> law, rule, regulation, order or code, the law, rule, regulation, order or code shall control. Varying <br /> degree of stringency among the General Conditions, Specific Conditions, Appendices, laws, <br /> rules, regulations, orders or codes are not deemed conflicts and the most stringent requirement <br /> shall control. Should a conflict exist between the drawings and the Specifications, the <br /> Specifications shall control. <br /> 2. Contractor shall immediately notify PG&E of any conflicts as described in Paragraph 22 of the <br /> General Conditions. <br /> E. Non-exclusivity: <br /> THIS IS NOT AN EXCLUSIVE CONTRACT. PG&E RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY <br /> AND ALL PROPOSALS AND TO ACCEPT OTHER THAN THE LOWEST PROPOSAL. <br />
