Spec No. CGT-TRACY-UST-01-2003 <br /> General Requirements <br /> 01010-13 <br /> 1. General: Remove paper labels from glass, fixtures, and equipment only after respective items <br /> have been inspected, verified, and approved to assure that each complies with requirements of <br /> Specifications and Drawings. Labels and plates that are permanently attached to equipment <br /> shall not be removed. Remove paint and clean all permanent labels so that they are legible. <br /> 2. Premises and Site: Remove all trash, debris, and surplus excavation dirt. No items shall be left <br /> or discarded elsewhere on the work site. Items that shall be discarded shall be removed to <br /> authorized public dumps. Leave premises "broom clean." Extra building materials, supplies, <br /> etc., shall be provided for PG&E's use, where specified in the separate sections of the <br /> Specification. <br /> 3. Finished Surfaces: Remove marks, stains, fingerprints, and dirt. <br /> C. Close-Out Punch List: <br /> 1. Toward the completion of the Work, PG&E will begin the routine inspection of the facility and <br /> prepare a punch list of deficiencies or corrections required. <br /> 2. One (1) copy of each punch list for a specific room or area requiring corrections will be <br /> forwarded to the Contractor, and a copy will be retained by PG&E. <br /> 3. Contractor shall correct all deficiencies expeditiously and shall note all corrections and the date <br /> performed upon the punch list. <br /> D. Project Closeout Submittals: Prior to final payment and before PG&E issues a Final Certificate for <br /> Payment, Contractor shall furnish to PG&E the following: <br /> 1. Geologist's UST Closure Report <br /> 2. Copies of all agency-issued permits and inspection reports. <br /> 3. Copies of all analytical reports. <br /> 4. Copies of all transportation and disposal documents. <br /> 5. Release or Waiver of Liens as required by General Conditions. <br /> E. Record Documents: <br /> 1. In addition to any other drawing sets, Contractor shall keep on the job one(1) set of the <br /> Specification and prints of the Drawings for the purpose hereinafter described. Contractor shall <br /> note on this set of records exact sizes, locations, and elevations of all buried or concealed pipe, <br /> conduit, ductwork, and equipment and the locations of services, panels, disconnects, and <br /> shutoffs that are altered by the work. Record underground utility locations with dimensions <br /> from building corners or established reference points. The surveyor shall verify all grading <br /> changes and utility locations. The Drawings shall be kept up to date daily during the course of <br /> construction and shall be available at all times, upon request, for inspection by PG&E. <br /> 2. Upon completion of the Work, PG&E will provide Contractor a set of drawings, and all changes <br /> as noted on the record set of prints shall be incorporated thereon by Contractor. All changes <br /> shall be neatly and legibly drawn to scale on the set of drawings using standard architectural or <br /> engineering drafting practices. The Contractor shall deliver the set of drawings to PG&E. <br />
