Spec No. CGT-TRACY-UST-01-2003 <br /> General Requirements <br /> 01010-12 <br /> 7. No change shall be made by the Contractor in any submittal after it has been accepted by <br /> PG&E. <br /> 8. If the submittal shows any variation from the Contract requirements because of standard shop <br /> practice or other reasons, Contractor shall make specific mention of each variation in their <br /> submittal in order that, if acceptable, suitable action may be taken for proper adjustment of the <br /> Contract; otherwise, Contractor shall not be relieved of the responsibility for the submittal that <br /> has been accepted. <br /> 9. It is expressly understood that PG&E's review of the submittals shall not relieve the Contractor <br /> of any of its responsibilities under this Specification for the successful completion of the Work in <br /> conformity with the requirements of the Specification. Such review shall not operate to waive <br /> any of the requirements of the Specification or relieve the Contractor of any obligation there <br /> under; defective work, materials, and equipment may be rejected notwithstanding such review. <br /> B. Procedures: All submittals shall be identified and have the following information: <br /> 1. Project name, location, and PG&E Specification Number. <br /> 2. Subcontractor's, vendor's, and/or manufacturer's name, address, and telephone number. <br /> 3. Submittal number. <br /> 4. Project identification. Where product data contain more than one product, model, selection, <br /> etc., clearly mark and identify the information intended to be reviewed by PG&E. <br /> 5. Reference to drawings and/or Specification sections as applicable. <br /> 6. Contractor's stamp of approval with date and initials of person approving the submittal. <br /> C. Approval Procedure: Original submittal of four prints will be checked by PG&E and the prints <br /> stamped indicating results of checking and what action shall be taken by Contractor. Contractor <br /> shall make corrections and incorporate PG&E comments and return final copy to PG&E. <br /> D. Use of Submittals: <br /> 1. Work shall be fabricated, constructed, and furnished in accordance with the acceptable <br /> submittals; one copy of such acceptable submittals shall be kept at the work site. <br /> 2. Contractor shall not use any unacceptable submittals or submittal materials without the stamp <br /> of acceptance for reference in doing any work. <br /> 1.11 FINAL ACCEPTANCE <br /> A. General: Contractor must meet each of the conditions below,to the satisfaction of PG&E before <br /> final acceptance of the project and issuance of a Final Certificate of Payment. These conditions are <br /> listed below. <br /> B. Final Cleanup: Immediately prior to Contractor's request for final inspection of the Work or any <br /> portion thereof, final cleanup shall be performed by Contractor. In addition to the normal "broom- <br /> clean" requirements, Contractor is responsible for assuring that the exposed surfaces of the <br /> following materials shall be cleaned as listed herein: <br />
