Additionally,onsite personnel complete the alarm panel test logs. Maintenance records are filed on site. 7. Maintenance of the monitoring equipment must be performed at least once every 12 months. Describe the preventative maintenance schedule and recording for the monitoring equipment. What month will the annual monitoring certification be performed in? The monitoring system shall be certified annually in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. System set-up must be checked to verify that the 99% operating mode option has been selected. The annual monitoring certification is performed in February. Note: For new installations the secondary containment must be tested 6 months after installation. All secondary containment systems must be tested once every 36 months with initial testing before December 31, 2003. 8. Describe the training necessary for the operation of the UST system, including piping, and the monitoring equipment. The UST system is monitored 24 hours 7 days per week by Veeder Root. Operators are trained in alarm response protocol.
