D.) Confined Space Entry: <br /> Employees are prohibited from entering into confined space without a Permit to work in Confined <br /> Space. A confined space is defined as those where the ventilation is so poor that dangerous levels <br /> of air contamination and/or oxygen deficiency can occur, and it is difficult to get to or remove an <br /> injured worker because of the location or size of the openings. Examples of confined spaces are <br /> tank cars or trucks storage tanks, sewers, wells and shafts. <br /> E.) Decontamination Procedures: <br /> Personnel engaged in trenching or excavation of potentially contarninated material will <br /> decontaminate by washing personal protective equipment, hands, and face with brush as <br /> necessary. <br /> F.) Securing of the Site: <br /> • Barricades and caution tape will be placed around the immediate excavation and <br /> trenches. <br /> • All excavated material will be placed on and covered with visqueen. <br /> G.)
