SECTION 6 EMPLOYEE SAFETY & TRAINING PROGRAM In the event of a fire on the islands , a fuel dispenser being hit , or other• situation in which a danger exists depress EMERGENCY PUMP STOP switch located on fuel control console . Call 911 , Frank Guinta , Jr . , and Store Manager , evacuate all customers and employees from dangerous situation . Fire extinguisher, are provided if necessary and are to be used only if safe to do so. In the event of a fuel spill on the islands (as a result of customer• error , equipment failure , or similar cause) , attempt to stop flow of fuel and contain with absorbent . If fuel spill is very large and cannot be easily covered by absorbent , construct containment ring of absorbent and call 911 . In the event of a monitoring system leak detection activation , notify John Guinta immediately . For, the safety of everyone the fuel pumping system will stop . Do not attempt to restart system until system integrity is determined . In the event of fuel reconciliation variance greater than allowed by law the following checks are to be performed : Check math for, errors , does problem stabilize within 2 days , manually stick tank for comparison against TLS , result of fuel drop . If these do not resolve problem contact Frank Guinta . In the event of a store fire evacuate customers and employees , call 911 , and Frank Guinta , Jr . If the fire is small and can be extinguished do so only if it safe to do so, call 911 , then attempt to contain the fire . In the event of a medical emergency , a first aid kit is provided on the premises . Call 911 immediately . If unfamiliar with basic first aid leave for qualified personnel . As Part of our ongoing Injury and Illness Prevention Program , training is provided when hired , when a deficiency or• safety violation is noted , and when yearly store safety meetings are held . All employees must undergo training . John Guinta will train the store managers who will in turn train their• store employees and provide documentation of the training .
